Amy Erica Smith—Liberal Arts and Sciences Dean’s Professor, professor of political science, and associate director for research at the Carrie Chapman Catt Center for Women and Politics—will present Iowa State’s 2025 Constitution Day Lecture, “How the U.S. Constitution Influenced Other Countries’ Constitutions,” at 6 p.m. in Room 2630 of the Memorial Union. Smith has been a faculty member in the political science department since 2012 and a Liberal Arts and Sciences Dean’s Professor since 2020. She joined the Catt Center in 2024.
